Research projects
In addition to sharing knowledge with healthcare professionals in low- and middle income countries, providing parental education programs and improving treatment protocols, we also conduct research projects together with our partner hospitals. The Netherlands has 600 new cases of childhood cancer every year. That is not enough to conduct good research. This international collaboration provides scientists with more data and research material, such as tumor tissue. This allows them to conduct leading research with an international impact. Patients in the Netherlands also benefit from this.
